About me

Chad Price was born and raised in south Houston TX. In his later years of high school he discovered sculpture as a form of self expression. This fostered a strong desire to explore other mediums which led Price to engage with photography as his main focus in his early college years. Pursuing photography led Price to seek a change in surroundings, he decided to relocate to Austin Tx in 2019 to explore making a possible career in photography. Price’s first job in after relocating was at a local wholesale flower shop this would be his first introduction to the world of flowers. These new surroundings and unique opportunities further pushed Price’s need to explore his creative desires. In 2023 he enrolled at ACC Highland to study the art of jewelry fabrication and casting. Roughly one year into his studies at ACC Price began working as a lab tech for the jewelry department . Working in the floral industry being inspired by the flowers natural organic beauty he was drawn replicate that through his jewelry. Organic casting is where Price found his most creative self expression and has become deeply experienced in it. He recently hosted a lecture on it at ACC Highland.
